Raised in remote Waipiʻo Valley, Pōlani considers herself a 21st century Hawaiian. Pōlani gained the understanding and love for her culture not only through her parents but from her education at Kanu o ka ʻĀina NCPCS. A graduate of HawCC with an AA in Hawaiian Studies emphasis on Hula and of UHH with a BA in Performing Arts. A loving mother, wife, and daughter. Pōlani strives to protect, preserve, and perpetuate her Hawaiian culture by serving her community at large.
